| Two die, 6 injured in accident | | |

Two persons died and six others got serious injuries in two different accidents in Kathua and Nagrota today.
According to reports a Mahidra load carrier vehicle No JK08/5856 which was on its way from Mahanpur to Kathua rolled down at Thai Dam area in Mahanpur in Kathua due to negligence of drive in which one person died on spot and six others got serious injuries. The deceased has been identified as Anant Ram son of Man Singh resident of Bani.
The local people along with police rushed the injured to hospital and in the meantime police has registered has registered a case in this regard and is investigating the matter. Meanwhile, in another accident one unidentified person died on spot when his Maruti car rolled down in Nagrota area. According to reports the driver of the car NO JK02J/3411 which was on its way from Udhampur to Jammu lost his control at Nagrota Toll Post and collided with a tree and rolled down on the road in which the driver of the vehicle died on spot. The body was shifted to hospital mortuary for identification and police has also registered a case in this regard.
