| Teacher arrested for militant links | | |

A Government teacher was arrested by Kishtwar police under the charges of having links with HM militant outfit. One pistol and some rounds have also been recovered from his possession.
According to reports, Kishtwar police today received information that a teacher posted in Government High Secondary School Dul was involved in militancy and was coordinator of HM outfit and was helping the militants in the area for past quite some time. After booking the information a team swung into action and arrested the said teacher. He has been unidentified as Nassir Ahmed Sheikh and police has recovered one pistol and five rounds from his possession. He was carried to some undisclosed place for interrogation. Sources said during interrogation he informed about some hideouts of the militants and disclosed the names of some more persons involved in militancy. Sources said after his interrogation, SSP Doda Manohar Singh also sent a team to different places in the area to arrest more persons.
