| Machail Yatra to start from August 18 | | |
JAMMU, AUGUST 11-In connection with the Annual Machail Yatra 2006, starting from 18.8.2006, MP Ch Lal Singh has consented to be the chief guest to flag off the Yatra buses from Indira Chowk Jammu on August 17 at 7 to 8 a. m towards Bhadarwah, the base camp of Yatra.
As per programme, Thalli Poojan Ceremony would be performed on august 16 from 5 to 8 p. m in the Sanstha Office at Maha Lakshami Mandir, Pacca Danga Jammu. The devotes and pilgrims from Jammu and outside the state would take out religious procession along with pious Jyot of Mata Chandi from the venue on august 17 at 6 a. m which moved pass through Jain Bazaar, and reach Indira Chowk at 7 a. m, wherefrom the Yatris shall board the buses for proceeding towards Bhadarwah, the base camp of Machail Yatra. |
