| Militants kidnap civilians, released | | | Jammu | July 29
A group of three militants along with a female associate reportedly kidnapped three local persons from Gool area and later released after severely thrashing them. A case has been registered in this regard in Police Station Gool. According to reports, three local militants, Manzoor Ahmed son of Ghulam Mohd Naik residents of Dalwa, Feroz Din alias Nasswerulla Gazi son of Abdulla Malik resident of Sulbala Gool along with one woman Raj Begum wife of Manzoor Ahmed code Furqan kidnapped three local persons namely Shabir Ahmed son of Ab Samad Wani resident Dalwa, Gulzar Ahmed and Mohd Ayoub sons Gul Mohd Shah residents of Gagavsulla Gool and took them to forest and after beaten them brutally released them later. After getting information police started a search operation in the area to nab the militants as last reports came in.
