KATHUA, AUGUST 11 -In order to review the arrangements for celebration of Independence Day, 2006, a meeting of Tehsil Officers was held at Basohli today under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Basohli.
It was apprised in the meeting that the main function will be held at Jawahar Navodaya Vidhyalaya, Basohli where the VIP will hoist the National flag and will take salute on the march past.
Colorful cultural programme would be presented by the school children of various Government and Private Institutions
Regarding other arrangements like security, sanitation, sitting, drinking water, electricity, First aid, the concerned departments were asked to make foolproof arrangements.
Among others, Principal, JNV, Basohli, Principal, Government Degree College, Basohli and Tehsil Officers were present on the occasion. |
