| Minors arrested for theft | | |

Kathua police today arrested two minors - brother and sister charging them of stealing about Rupees two lakh. According to reports, today a minor girl 12 yrs old Bahu Mati along with her 8 yrs old brother Aatish son of Ram Babu resident of MP presently living at Kathua were charged with stealing Rs 1,80,00 from one Jeet Kumar a resident of Kathua, from the court premises when he was busy discussing something with an advocate. A bag containing the cash was placed at advocate’s table by Kumar.
However, after finishing discussion, when Kumar turned to pick the bag, he found the same missing.
He immediately informed the police who arrested the minors after a brief search and recovered cash from their possession. The two were taken to the police station.
