| State Boxing Championship begins today | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | July 30
State Boxing Championship began today at indoor Complex M.A. Stadium. About seventy players from the Jammu , Leh and J&K police Department participated in the championship. The championship was organized under the banner of J&K Amateur Boxing asoscaiation.
The results of the matches in different categories were as follows:
In Junior categories ( 42-45 kg) Shaib Mohd beat Vilayat Ali on pts, Sanjeev Kumar beat Zahoor Ahmed and Parshotam thrashed vipan Sharma.
In 30-33 Kg: Sunil Sharma beat Mohd. Sharif and Sunil Mehra defeated by Sunila Sharma.
In 33-36 Kg: Nitin Kumar Beat Ashok Sharma
In 36-39 Kg: Anwar Hussain beat Sukesh Sharma
In 42-45 Kg: Sanjjev Kumar winner of bout no 1 beat Shoaib Mohd. (Winner of bout no 2)
Parshotam ( winner of 3rd bout) beat Chandan Sharma on pts.
