Situation turned tense at Jammu Municipal Corporation meeting when a councilor snatched the microphone from a minister saying that he was not given chance to speak and before the minister addresses, he should be allowed to speak.
During a General House Meeting of Jammu Municipal Corporation, Minister for Housing and Urban Development Qazi Mohammad Afzal arrived at JMC meeting to launch the website of JMC. After launching the website, when he started addressing the members, BJP councilor took the mike from minister and started addressing himself.
Other councilors present in the house meeting tried to stop him but he ignored them and said that he has also right to speak and he should be allowed to do so. Following this, the BJP and Congress councilors started shouting on each other. The situation went on like this for more than twenty minutes when after the intervention of the minister situation was settled.
