| Flying squads constituted to check attendance in schools | | |
RAJOURI, AUGUST 11 -In pursuance to the instructions of Director Education Jammu and Chief Education Officer Rajouri has constituted flying squads for all the 15 educational zones of the district to block attendance and absenteeism in schools. The step has been initiated to enforce discipline in educational institutions especially in far-flung areas where incidence of truancy by teachers is reported.
Each team comprising of concerned Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) and Principal of nominated Government Higher Secondary School shall carry out surprise inspections daily and deliver the inspection report to CEO. Any teacher found absent un-authorizedly or showing dereliction of duty of any sort would be dealt with sternly. |
