| Sharma demands early completion of road projects | | | Early Times Reporter Kalakote | July 30 MLC and JKPCC general secretary Ashok Sharma has impressed the need of taking up work on the 15 road projects in Kalakote areas that have been cleared by the NABARD. He said these roads should be completed in a time bound manner for providing connectivity to the far flung areas of the constituency. Rupees 40 crores have been earmarked for construction of these prestigious roads sin the area, he added. Sharma expressed gratitude of the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for taking personal interest in clearing these projects by NABARD. Sharma while addressing a series of public meetings at Ghawan, Gharan, Phalli, Panjnara, Chabber, Kharak, Panar, Pajah, Mehari, Goddar, Sarano and Sangpur apprised the people about the achievements of both state and central governments. He said with the construction of these roads all far off areas of Kalakote would open up for speedy development. He said the roads being taken up under NABARD assistance include Rs. 286 lakh Sarnoo–Peo–Manyalan road Rs.175 lakh Soulki–Arthma road. He said the other roads being taken up are Panjah to Sair involving Rs.239.29 lakhs, Metka to Mogla via Chabber involving Rs.412.30 lacs, Manwa to Daggal Halla at a cost of Rs. 1773. 60 lakhs Rs. 241 lakh Baragoa to Dalyote road, Badoon to Nali road involving a cost of Rs.247.60 lacs, Nagrota – Panyal Dhara (Lalalkas) costing Rs.252.60 lakhs, Dangri to Gunni involving Rs.215.03 lakhs and Rs.218 lakh Potha to Goddar road.
