| Businessmen-turn politicians involved in flesh trade | | |

Two businessmen- turn- politicians of ruling alliance in the state are allegedly involved in running flesh trade and supplying girls to the politicians, leaders of different parties as also the senior functionaries of the government. They use these girls not only to get their works done, but for other purposes also and in turn get hefty sums. The duo with the help of these girls manage transfers of officers apart from contracts for undertaking several projects.
The sources said that some days back one of them managed transfer of an SHO, who happened to know about the racket. One of the so called politicians succeeded in getting him transferred to a less important post with the help of a girl.
Sources further said that both of them are aspiring for MLA’s ticket from their respective areas and to gain sympathy and well wishes from the political high ups, they are supplying girls to them for their pleasure.
Sources also told that they are running a big gang of flesh trade of girls who are ready to go any time to any place on their directions. These businessmen turn politicians are much busy in their trade that they usually remain out from their houses in connection with the illicit trade. Sources said they run the trade both with in the city and outside, besides the picnic spots and some hilly resorts where politicians usually frequent.
A police officer is also reported to be helping them by arranging specials and protective places and in return of prize postings according to his choice. The police officer who was also involved in several land grab cases was left scot free with the help of the senior politicians.
If sources are to be believed some months back, one of them was caught red-handed by
the police with some girls at a respective place and later he was released due to the
political pressure .
According to sources the racketeers sent girls to Srinagar by air also and after completing their assignments they returned to Jammu by air on the same day. Sources said that some leaders who know about their activities do not like them but due to pressure from some senior leaders they remain mum.
Though both the so-called politicians have no rank in their respective parties but both of them are well known to their party members and are much powerful for them. They both have their own business but they spent most of the time to make happy their well-wishers.
According to sources they are also running a racket of looting the unemployed youth and luring them for gainful employment and also get money from them. To show their existence they have been organizing political meetings in respective areas to impress the people .Sources said that they have developed good relations with some of the doctors also who help in aborting the girls, if they get pregnant.
