| Cong, PDP responsible for attack on pilgrims: Bhim Singh | | | Early Times reporter Jammu July 31 Holding Congress and PDP – the two major coalition partners, responsible for blat outside Sahlimar Bagh in a bus carrying tourists besides terrorist strikes on Amarnath pilgrims, Panthers Party chief Bhim Singh said that the government has failed in its duty to protect the lives of the pilgrims and tourists besides the local residents. He was addressing a working committee meeting of the party, here today. Speaking on the occasion, Bhim also alleged that state government was acting like mute spectator to the episode of non-state subject labourers leaving Kashmir under threat. He stressed that there was no Bihari labourer included in the rape and murder of the minor girl child. He said that among the four culprits, two belonged to the same locality of the victim and one belonged to West Bengal. The fourth one is absconding till date. He also raised questions over the working style of local administration and state police, which he alleged were sleeping over the threat calls issued by some militant organizations. Bhim said that his party plans to hold a massive demonstration against the bias attitude of the state government on the issue. He said that the protest rally will be held on August 8 at Lal Chowk in Srinagar.
