Three days entrepreneurship development programme (EDP) organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute concluded here today.
The program was organized in collaboration with Khadi Village and Industries Board (KVIB). About 40 progressive entrepreneurs from rural areas of the district participated in the programme.
In his valedictory address, director J&KEDI, MI Parray stressed upon the need of creating awareness about entrepreneurship among educated unemployed youth so as to solve the problems of unemployment and also to change the mindset of the people so that they can adopt alternatives to employment in view of shortage of jobs.
Welcome address was delivered by district officer KVIB, Santosh Saraf wherein he informed about the role of J&KEDI in developing entrepreneurship in the state. He also threw light on the merits of adopting entrepreneurship as career, for the unemployed youth for achieving economic and financial independence.
