| Workshop for SC, ST students held | | |

A one day regional workshop for SC and ST students of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) was organized at University of Jammu today.
A large number of students from different parts of the region participated in the workshop.
Dr. P. Parkash, registrar MANUU and Dr. KR Iqbal Ahmed, Pro-vice chancellor was also presented on the occasion.
In the interaction session between students and authorities the students put forth their various academic issues and problems. The Pro-Vice chancellor assured them of the speedy solution of their genuine problems.
Most of the students raised the question over the examination related matters and about their results. The Pro-VC assured them of their speedy solution. The controller of Examination also assured of them proper grievance. He said that all the problems are due to the improper attendance made by the students on the given sheets. He instructed the coordinators of the study centres to have proper watch over the attendance.
In the end, Dr. Abdul Ghani, Asstt. Regional Director, MANNU Jammu thanked all the audiences. He also thanked the University authorities and the students to make the programme successful. Dr. Shohaib Malik, Coordinator MANUU was also presented on the occasion.
