| Central Govt. pensioners hail decision to set up dispensary in Jammu | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Aug 1 Central Government Pensioner’s Welfare Association has welcomed the decision of Union Health Minister Amboomani Ramdass to set up a dispensary at Jammu under the Central Government. Health Scheme (CGHS). The Central Government Employees and the pensioners in particular expressed their gratitude to the Union Health Minister for this gesture and hoped opening of this dispensary at Jammu would meet their long pending demand. With the opening of this dispensary the concerned employees would be entitled to same benefits as are being given to their counterparts stationed at places like Chandigarh, Delhi, Lucknow. The central government pensioners association has been struggling and agitating against this discriminatory and unjustified attitude of the government. for the last ten years. Union Health Minister conceded their long pending genuine demand, ably supported by the State Health Minister and the State Chief Minister. The Pensioners Association has also thanked Pt. Mangat Ram Shama, State Health Minister and Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for pleading their case forcefully before the Union Health Minister during his visit to the State recently.
