| Tariq conducts extensive tour of flood hit areas of Rajouri | | |

PDP senior leader M S Tariq had an extensive tour of flood affected areas of the District and held a meeting with the District Development Commissioner with regard to the problems confronting the residents of the flood hit areas.
During the tour Tariq visited Dassal Serian and Madina Colony and impressed upon the DDC to ensure construction of protection bunds and flood channels in the flood prone areas to save the people from the fury of floods which caused havoc recently.
The District Development Commissioner Rajouri is reported to have assured Tariq that the work on protection bunds and flood channels would be taken up shortly and grant of additional funds for the purposes would be taken up with the Finance Ministry
