Six arrested with thirty four bovines

Jammu | August 2
Four persons arrested with 25 bovines when they were on way to Kashmir from Jammu on two trucks. Police registered a case in this regard and started investigating the matter. According to reports, during a routine checking Kud police interrupted two trucks bearing registration number JK02AC/0797 and JK02AC/2554 and recovered 25 bovines. Police seized both the trucks and arrested four persons in this regard. The accused had been identified as Pritam Singh son Suram Singh resident of Reasi, Mohd Reela son of Alat Din resident of Gadigarh, Ramesh Chand son of Suram Chand resident of Jourian and Balbir Singh son of Kea Singh resident of RS Pura.
Meanwhile, nine more bovines were recovered by police from Hussain Din son of Faqir Din Gujjar resident of Padder and Mohd Iqbal son of Ab Gani Gujjar resident of Ramban. The accused were arrested and case registered against them u/s 188 RPC.
