JK Milchar Front demands early construction of Khara- Jaie raod

A meeting of residents of Shamdlian, Gharu, Kunthal, Surnga, Joura, Budhi and Halaran villages of District Doda was held under the Chairmanship of Kuldeep Kumar Rao General Secretary J&K Milchar Front here today. The meeting discussed the long pending demand of the construction of Kahara- Jaie road. The participants unanimously resolved to urge the Chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to personally pay due to attention for early construction of this road. With the construction of Kharar-Jaie road will provide employment to the people of Basnota area.
According to press release, villagers of these areas have appealed to Chief Minister to bring this project under Prime Minister Gram Sadak Yojna Scheme so that the construction work on this road is started from both sides on war-footing without any financial constraints as the dream of the people of this far-flung and neglected area may transform into reality.
Beside this public of the area also demanded the up-gradation of Government High School Halaran to Higher Secondary School, Up-gradation of Primary School to Middle School and construction of building of Primary School Sichal, Up-gradation of Primary School Joura Kalan to Middle School. They express their shock of the state Government attitude towards these ancient old schools and other New Govt. Schools in the District have been promoted but these schools ignored by the Government.
Rao appealed to the Chief Minister to consider the genuine long pending demands of the neglected and peace-loving people of the area and order to execution of work on both sides of Khara- Jaie road on war footing.
