| One arrested for selling illegal kerosene | | | Jammu | Aug 3
Batote police today arrested one person for selling kerosene ill illegally in the area and also recovered about 200 liters of kerosene from his possession.
According to reports police today received specific information that one person was busy in selling kerosene illegally in the area and accordingly a police team from Batote police station led by SHO Sat Pal Modi swung into action and raided at Kothri area and arrested one person namely Harbans Singh son of Naryan Singh resident of Bhour Camp, Jammu along with truck no JK02D/8355 and also recovered 160 liters of kerosene oil from his possession..
Sources said he was active in the area for last many years and police has also registered a case in this regard and is investigating the matter
