| DLF to launch movement for separate statehood to Jammu region | | |

To garner support for the separate statehood for Jammu region, the Dogra Liberation Front (DLF) would soon launch membership drive in the region.
Announcing this at a press conference here today, the President, DLF, Ram Paul Sharma said that the Front envisages launching membership drive in the region to enroll nearly about 50,000 to make the separate statehood movement meaningful and purposeful. He said the Front also plans to hold a massive rally soon in which participants from all parts of the region are likely to participate.
Sharma called upon the likeminded organizations to join hands with the Front in achieving the common goal of separate statehood for Jammu region and expressed the hope that all these organizations would come on a joint platform to press for its long pending demand of separate state hood.
Those present at the press conference were Pinki Bandral, Kapil Dev, Sanjeev Gupta and Sat Pal Sharma.
