| ”Health at doorstep” under Operation Sadbhavna | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | AUGSUT 11 Army conducts Operation Sadbhavna on wheels to carry healthcare to people at doorstep in remote villages of Poonch / Rajouri Districts, with the aim of improving health of people, animals and popularize Pinewood School among people. This was stated in a press release by 120 Infantry Brigade. Medical and Veterinary camps were held in the general area of Bharwiyani Gali, Basuni, Dharana and Keri with the Mobile Sadbhavna vans called Sadbhavna on Wheels going to the villages as part of the campaign, said the release. The contact programme teams comprising of Regimental Medical Officers with Nursing Assistants and Education Junior commissioned officers carried out the double campaign the release said adding further that the canvassing was the responsibility of the company commanders i/c of their respective areas by public announcements and with Numbardars’ help, peoples response being great with 500 heads receiving free medical aid. The locals appreciated the move and requested for regular convening of such pro- grammes, the Pine Wood School, Sabra is expected to get very good enrollment
