| SP hails incentives to defence personal, | | Demands same for state officials | | Early Times Reporter

Hailing the centre government’s decision in granting special incentive to defence personal posted at far-off and militancy infested area, the state Samajwadi Party secretary general Ram Prakash Sharma has said, that same incentive be provided to state’s civil and police employees working under same conditions. He said state employees are equally exposed to the vagaries of weather and of Pak aided insurgency like the armed forces.
According to party handout issued today Sharma has said that the said decision of the centre government, no doubt, shall go a long way in boosting the moral of the defence personnel, further said that the state government employees including those working in police department working in the same conditions, need also be considered for grant of these facilities including additional allowances at par with defence employees. The SP leader urged upon the Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad to take an early decision in this regard.
