| Youth hold protest demonstration, demand release of IRP list | | |

Hundreds of youth from Kathua and Jammu today held a protest rally at Press Club here to press the demand for release of the selected list of IRP for which the interviews were held in December last.
The agitating youth raised anti- government slogans and criticized the government of its failure in releasing the list of the selected candidates despite lapse of seven months. Pankaj Sharma one of the youth said that they had applied for recruitment in 2006 and competed in all tests and when the selection was ready for release some politicians blamed the then DIG Jammu – Kathua range Niyaz Mahmood for committing bungling in recruitment and was subsequently suspended.
