| Brig Salgotra, son of the soil, takes over command of MH | | |
Jammu, August 5- Brig Kuldip Raj Salgotra, son of the soil, today took over the command of 166 Military Hospital, Satwari from Brig Arvind Gupta who has been posted to Command Hospital Chandimandir.
Speaking on the occasion, Brig Salgotra praised the outgoing commandant for number of improvements carried out in the hospital especially “Comprehensive Daily Immunization Centre”, Cancer Awareness Cell for women” “Life style Diseases Awareness Counter”, facilities which have been widely appreciated by the clientele and being implemented in other service hospitals too.
Brig Salgotra is an eminent orthopedic surgeon who has performed modern “Total Hip and Knee Joint Replacement” for the first time in this hospital in Jammu and Kashmir.. He is a graduate of Srinagar Medical College and has vowed to work towards making this hospital as the best in Armed Forces with special emphasis on reactivating the “Joint Replacement Services” in this hospital and modernization of “Trauma Services” which is the need of the hour in this region.
