Jammu, August 6 In yet another step towards welfare of the population living in remote areas along the line of control in Rajouri and Poonch districts, Army organized “Operation Sadbhavana on Wheels”. Brigadier IS Singha, Commander Bhimber Gali Brigade inaugurated the Camp.
The Camp organized by Hamirpur Battalion for villagers of Ramluta, Bhurti, Kanga, Chhapardhara, Galota, Sasuta, Dabbi Forward, Basuni, Panjani, Sohala, Sandot, Balakot and Dharati covered multifaceted aspects of the lives of the people to include medical attention to people and animals, immunization and advice on agriculture and horticulture.
Four Army doctors along with five specialists including lady doctors and immunization team provided treatment to the villagers.
Free treatment to animals was also provided by Army vet team. The locals of the area have expressed their gratitude towards the Army for organizing such military civic action programme
