| Civil-military conference discuss security arrangements | | |
Poonch Aug 6- Mendhar battalion under the aegis of Bhimber Gali organized a civil military liaison conference at Mendhar to discuss the security arrangements for Independence Day and other related issues. The conference was among others attended by Brigadier IS Singha, Commander, Bhimber Gali Station, Mr JS Pachnanda, Deputy Commissioner Poonch and other senior and civil officers.
Speaking on the occasion, Brigadier Singha emphasized the need for taking extra security measures to thwart the nefarious intentions of anti national elements.
On this occasion, the Mendhar battalion facilitated the conduct of darbar by the DC for his interaction with the local population and to redress their grievances.
