| Two ultras killed in Surankot, cache recovered at Gool | | | JAMMU AUG-11- Two terrorists were eliminated in Surankot, a Police cop received gun shot wounds while forces recovered a cache in Gool area today.
An official spokesman said this evening that in a joint operation security forces eliminated two terrorists at Haruni 6km West of Surankot in Poonch district. Identity of the slain militants has not been ascertained so far.
In the incident a Police constable Mohammed Sikand received gun shot wounds and has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
Two AK rifles were recovered from the possession of the slain militants.
In another incident, based on own information, the security forces recovered cache hidden under a boulder at Ramakunda,5 km North West of Gool. The recoveries included three hand grenades, two AK magazines, 176 rounds of AK ammunition,26 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition and 15 rounds of .303 rifle..
