JAMMU, AUGUST 07 The annual Machail Yatra of Goddess Chandi is scheduled to commence from its base camp Bhaderwah- Chinote on August 18, 2007.
The yatris from Jammu in the form of a religious procession alongwith ‘Thali Mubarak’ would leave from Shri Maha Lakshmi Mandir, Pacca Danga, Jammu towards Indira Chowk on August 17 at 6 a.m. The procession would pass through Pacca Danga, Jain Bazar, Link road, Purani Mandi, City Chowk, Raghunath Bazar and conclude at Indira Chowk where from the participants would board the buses for Bhaderwah to join the main yatra.
In addition, Thali Poojan ceremony shall be performed on August 16 at Shri Maha Lakshmi Mandir Pacca Danga from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
