Workshop on Software Development Techniques for 21 days began at Govt. Women College Parade. The workshop is being organized by Dept. of Computer Sciences Govt. Women College Parade.
Prof. Devanand HOD Deptt .of Computer Sciences was the chief guest while Prof. Usha Jayee, Principal GWC Parade was the guest of honor on the occasion. The workshop will be conducted by Gurlain Singh, Project leader JPS technologies.
Prof. Devanand while speaking on this occasion said that this workshop will help them to know about various techniques evolved in software development, front-end / backend concepts , data base designing, connectivity, reports , preparation , trouble shooting handling so that they can develop software of their own and can make their place as software developers in the leading companies of the world..
Principal Usha Jayee in her speech said that it is the great opportunity for the students to learn about programming languages and sharpen their skills in this workshop. She appreciated the staff of Computer Sciences Department for organizing such workshop.
The main motto of the workshop is to make the student well versed with software development techniques so that they can sharpen their skills so as to prepare themselves for the job in the market stated Parveen Singh, HOD Computer Sciences GCW Parade. He said that today’s market is market of computers and world is market of software’s and this workshop is a step towards that market. He stressed upon the students to take maximum benefit of these workshop so that they can prepare themselves for the interviews and tests of the leading software companies and already five students of the department gas been placed in Infosys with the starting package of Rs. 2 lacs.
