UDHAMPUR, Jan 13: To commemorate the 68th Army Day, a blood donation camp was organized by Command Hospital, Udhampur. The camp was inaugurated by Lt Gen D S Hooda, Army Commander, Northern Command.
A talk bringing out the significance of blood donation and a health exhibition on the subject was also a part of the event. The camp drew good response with a large number of donors mainly from the armed forces.
Forty four blood units were collected after due screening and more donors have been registered for further donation at the Command Hospital. |
