Jammu, Jan 16: Six students from Lawrence Public School won medals in the 5th North India Speedball Championship held at New Delhi.
Kunal Sharma won silver medal, Akarshan Rasyal won silver medal, Fiza Choudhary won silver medal, Irfan Ahmed Rasyal won bronze medal, Lakshyadeep Jamwal won bronze medal, Afaf Imtiyaz won bronze medal.
The students participated under the supervision of Rakhi Chauhan. More than 300 students from 11 different states participated in this event. 32 members teams from J&K participated in the event under the supervision of Coach Sunny Nanda. Shivani Joshi, Headmistress, Lawrence Public School appreciated the students for their performance in Interstate championship, she also lauded the efforts of their Coach, Sunny Nanda. |
