SRTC employees on strike, press for demands

Jammu August 8, 2007: The office bearers of the all Jammu and Kashmir SRTC employees ferderation decided to observe complete strike for two days, in a meeting which held here today.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Amrik Singh Sassan, Chairman, SRTC employees. In the meeting President, Ashok Mehra announced that since the government is failed on all fronts, in order to solve the problems of the employees. So now the federation has left with the only option to observe strike, and this strike will be continue fro two days, 8th and 9th August, announced Mehra.
The employees are demanding for release of three months pay, Regularization of adhoc and consolidated drivers and clearance of DPC of all ranks.
On the occasion of this crucial meeting the participated among are Pawan Sharma, Man Mohan Singh, Balvinder Singh, Dev Raj Bali, Paras Ram and Manjeet Singh.
