| Panthers raise Talwara voice, seek relief for migrants | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu August 8, 2007 Expressing solidarity with the 'Poor Talwara Migrants, Panther Party asks the state government to treat the Talwara migrants at par with the Kashmiri Migrants, on the occasion of protest demonstration, here today. In the protest demonstration, Baljeet Singh, Block President, who lead the protest demonstration alleged that during the government order to use cane charge for the peacefully demonstrating Talwara migrants, around 100 migrants were injured and out these 50 migrants are still missing in the police action. In this police action the senior leaders of the Panthers party were also get injured in which P K Ganjoo and Anita Thakur are also included. Some of these are seriously injured and were admitted in the government Hospital and are getting treatment till now, informed Singh. On this occasion, Singh also alleged that since the Supreme Court of India had also ordered the state government to treat these migrants at par with the Kashmiri Migrants, then why the government is hesitating for providing all the facilities to these migrants which were proceeding towards the Jammu. Singh also alleged that the government is failed in providing the ration facilities to these migrants which are living under very difficult situations. He demand immediate ration for all these migrants and also demands all the facilities , which the Kashmiri Migrants are enjoying by the hands of the government. On this occasion the others took part in this protest demonstration includes, Daljeet Singh, Gulam Ali, Bansi Lal and others.
