| JD-U condemns cane charge on Talwara Migrants | | |

Jammu August 8, 2007: Condemning the brutal action taken by the police officials against the peacefully demonstrating Talwara migrants, Janta Dal-U organized a protest demonstration here today.
Protesting against the non-serious attitude of the state government against the Talwara Migrants, the JD-U State President, Inder Mohinder Tar Singh, led a protest march and demand the status similar to the Kashmiri Migrants for the Talwara Migrants, which are facing discrimination towards the hands of the state government.
On this occasion, Singh also alleged that since the Gulam Nabi Azad and Mufti Sayeed are hatching some conspiracy against the people related to the Jammu Region. He also demands amendment is the Demilitarization issue and Roshni act, which is only helpful for the land Mafias not for the poor and the common peoples of the state.
