HCU suicide case: PYC, Mahila Cong protest, demand resignation of HRD Minister 1/22/2016 11:41:20 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 22: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress alongwith Mahila Congress and NSUI today held a protest, demanding resignation of Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani for her role in the circumstances leading to the unfortunate incident of suicide of a Scholar of Hyderabad University. A large number activists of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress assembled at Shaheedi Chowk Jammu held a strong protest demonstration against the role of Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani and Union Minister for Labour Bandaru Dattatreya for their alleged role in the matter. Led by Pranav Shagotra-President PYC along with Indu Pawar-President Pradesh Mahila Congress and Neeraj Kundan-President NSUI amid slogans against HRD Minister burnt the effigy of Smriti Irani to lodge their protest. Speaking on the occasion Pranav Shagotra criticized union HRD Minister Smriti Irani and Union Minister for Labour Bandaru Dattatreya for their alleged role in the matter leading to suicide of a scholar of Hyderabad University. He said that the Union HRD Minister has mislead the nation over the issue which is evident by the exposure by the team of Professors who have reportedly tendered their resignations from their administrative posts, protesting over the 'fabricated' statements of Irani.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
