| SP hails relief to Talwara migrants | | | Early Times Reporter

Samajwadi Party today hailed the government decision to accept the demands of migrants of Talwara camp with regard to distribution of relief and rations by the state government.
Bodh Raj Hakeem, Convenor of the party's migrant cell, while reacting over the acceptance of Talwara camp migrants' demands for grant of relief and ration, expressed his satisfaction that at last the government has agreed to accept this most genuine demands of these hapless people. He at the same time demanded that the relief should be paid retrospectively from the date the Apex Court gave its decision.
Hakeem accused political parties for politicizing the otherwise a simple human issue by and warned them to refrain from deriving political mileage from it.
Regretting that despite Supreme Ccourt ruling, some sections of Jammu migrants are living in a most miserable condition and called upon the State Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad to consider early redressal of their grievances by granting relief and rations to them with retrospective effect.
