| Young housewife attempts suicide | | | Jammu |Aug 10
A young housewife today attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in her house when no body was present there.
The lady identified as Shamima Begum w/o of Abdul Latif resident of Banihal was immediately rushed to the hospital where doctors provided her immediate treatment. She is reportedly out of danger when reports last came in.
Meanwhile in another incident a lady laborer also attempted suicide following some dispute with her husband at under construction factory in Samba area. She took some poisonous substance to end her life but the timely medical treatment saved her life.
Identified as Bharti Bhai resident of Bihar at present Samba was reportedly beaten by her husband on some trivial issue. The lady after feeling humiliated, made an abortive attempt to commit suicide.
Finding her unconscious the other labourers took her to Samba hospital where doctors after providing immediate treatment referred her to GMC Hospital here and her condition was reportedly out of danger now.
