IRCS reviews progress on medical checkup program

In order to take stock of the progress on the implementation of School Health Check-up Program started by the Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu, a meeting was organized here today.
The meeting chaired by the ADDC, Charan Jit Singh was among others attended by A K Raina, Director School Education, Jammu and Dinesh Gupta, Executive Secretary, IRCS.
Director School Education informed the meeting that with the active collaboration of the Red Cross Society, which is organizing the medical check up program, around 6 lakh students would be benefited and said that this type of program was the first of its kind in Jammu and Kashmir.
Charanjit Singh, who was chief guest, said that this novel program has been launched with the involvement of three departments viz Education, Health and Indian Red Cross Society. He assured all support from the administration to make the program successful..
