Army last night recovered one AK47 rifle from Banihal area during a search operation.
Acting on a tip off about the presence of militants in the area the forces launched a search operation. However, the militants after firing several shots on the search party managed to escape taking advantage of darkness leaving behind one AK rifle.
The forces launched a combing operation to apprehend the militants and during the search it recovered a AK rifle in Khadi Tregham area of Banihal
