| Annual pilgrimage of Swami Amarnath ji culminated at Pahalgam | | | JAMMU, AUGUST 12
Annual pilgrimage of Swami Amarnath ji culminated successfully last evening at Pahalgam with performing of last rituals namely ‘Pujan’ & ‘Visarjan’, which were performed on the bank of river Lidder.
The True Trust founded by Mahant Deependra Giri ji had made all the arrangements for Sadhus for their transportation, accommodation and food who accompanied Chhari-Mubarak to Holy Shrine of Swami Amarnath ji during the pilgrimage. Security personnel accompanying Chhari-Mubarak for providing security cover also relished the langar of Chhari-Mubarak.
Sadhus of different sects, who had come from various parts of the country, were fed with ‘Karri-Pakouri’ and offered ‘Dakshina’ at Pahalgam as per the age old tradition.
Speaking on this occasion, Mahant Deependra Giri ji congratulated the State Government, State Administration, Indian Army, B.S.F., C.R.P.F., J&K Police, Health Department, P.D.D., P.H.E and people of Jammu & Kashmir for successful Yatra. He also thanked all the voluntary organizations for providing langer and other necessary facilities to the pilgrims
during the pilgrimage.
He also suggested taking concrete initiative at the earliest for making the Yatra
Eco-Friendly.
