| Alert CRPF apprehended Shabir Dar alongwith grenade at Pattan | | Shabir Dar on the motorcycle was aiming public place to throw the grenade to cause civilian deaths | | SRINAGAR, AUGUST 12
According to Police spokesman, one person namely Shabir Ahmad Dar S/O Mohammad Abrahim Dar R/O Rishipora was physically apprehended by alert personnels of CRPF at Hanjveera in Pattan, Kashmir and aiming public place at Pattan to throw the grenade. He was arrested alongwith live grenade and big civilian casualty where he was aiming to cause was avoided. After his capture he has taken to interrogation centre for interrogation and revelation are expected from him.
Earlier today, in another incident at Sopore 14 civilians were injured in a grenade attack.
