A Special Police Officer today got serious injuries when militants attacked him when he was on way to home for lunch in Thatri area of Doda district.
According to reports the SPO namely Sher Mohd son of Gulam Mohd posted with STF Hilur received fatal injuries when some suspected militants fired upon from the maize fields in Hular 9 Km North of Thatri .The SPO was on way to home for lunch when the militants fired upon him .The local people informed the police and later he was shifted to hospital for treatment. The police have launched a search operation in the area to apprehend the terrorists.
Meanwhile, in another incident security forces busted a hideout at Razal Morh in Nowshera and recovered one pouch with two 7.62mm magazines and 15 rounds of ammunition from the spot.
