| Dilapidated Zanana Park irks Poonch people | | |  Early Times Report
Poonch, Feb 5: The dilapidated condition of Zanana Park, Prade ground Poonch has been a source of inconvenience for the people. There are no rides for children. The parents have accused the administration of not providing facilities to the children. Mohammad Akbar, father of two children said that his sons feel bored in the park as there are no rides especially merry-go-rounds.
Another parent from Mandi, Mohammad Aslam said that he visits the park whenever he comes to District Hospital Poonch. He visits this park for rest,
Sources said that the park is very close to the District Hospital and in the middle of the town Poonch, so the visitors of District Hospital and in the evening time all the people of the town want to visits here for getting tranquilizers but the condition of park is worst as they disappointed here.
Sources also said that Deputy Chairman Council MLC Jahangir Mir has sanctioned funds for restoration of this park, but due to incompetency of Floriculture Department funds had not been utilised well. People want an inquiry of the misuse of the funds in this way. They said that District Development Commissioner M Haroon Malik should take this matter personally. |
