| Newly born baby found from Satwari | | | Jammu | AUG 13
A newly born baby was found from the bushes near canal at Satwari today. Police after getting information took him to hospital for treatment.
According to reports, some people heard the sound of cry of a child at the bank of the canal and when they reached there, they saw a newly born baby lying there wrapped in polythene bag and informed the police.
A police party on receipt of the information rushed to the spot and took the baby in their custody and later shifted him to hospital for check-up.
According to some eyewitnesses, they saw three ladies with a bag and it is believed they must have thrown the baby there.
