| DM imposes restrictions during night hours | | | JAMMU, AUGUST 12
District Magistrate Jammu Mr Hirdesh Kumar Singh under section. 144 Cr.P.C has restricted the movement of any person or persons during the night hours from 9.30 p.m to 5.00 a.m in the area falling this side of International Border within one Kilometer distance in Jammu district.
However, under exceptional circumstances, where the nearest SHO of police post, Commander of BSF outpost/post commander of the Army is satisfied that it is essential for any person or persons to be allowed to move during curfew hours to seek urgent medical aid or under take thrashing operation or for carrying out irrigation operation or for plantation for seedlings, such SHO/Post Commander may permit such persons to seek such urgent medical aid or under take thrashing operation extra by issuing them curfew passes. Regarding threshing operations etc, only actual thrashing is to take place during curfew hours, no transportation of materials to or from the thrasher will take place during curfew hours. Numberdar of village will submit to SHO’s/Post Commander schedules according to which the farmers of the village will conduct thrashing/irrigation/plantation operations at the threshers/fields, most easily accessible from the concerned field.
This order shall remained in-force for the period of one month |
