4RR organizes pre- ID function at Bhadarwah

BHADERWAH, Aug 13—A pre independence function was organized by 4 Rashtriya Rifles at Bhadarwah, where Brigadier A.K.Ganguly Commander Suigarh Sector was the Chief Guest. The function was attended by prominent citizens, media men, political leaders of several parties, religious leaders apart from people drawn from different shaped of public opinion.
In his interaction with the large gathering Brigadier focused on improving the relationship between the civilians and the army and exhorted all to work fearlessly for the betterment of the people of the district and maintaining communal harmony for the progress of our great nation.
He told the gathering that Army is launched a special recruitment drive in the district and special concession will be given to the youths of the District in height. He also sought cooperation of all in eliminating militancy from the state
Brigadier Ganguly also appreciated the role of media in the district especially of Majid Malik for highlighting the achievements of the Army.
Commanding Officer, 4RR Deepak Garg, 2IC 4RR S.Bhaduria and other officials of 4RR were also present on the occasion who also threw light on the role of Army in modern society.
Prominent among those present included SDM Bhadarwah P.K.Pole, ASP Bhadarwah M.L.Mehra , DSP(IB) Kundal , SHO Bhadarwah A.S.Jamwal, Advocate Naresh Gupta(Congress) , Ashraf Goni(NC) , Koushal Gupta and Gh.Nabi Ganai Gen. Secy of Anjuman-E- Islamia.
While speaking on the occasion the participants appreciated 4RR BIHAR for organizing such a meet aiming to create brotherhood and felling of oneness among the masses and also praised Army for being ready to help the poor and needy people in the way of “Operation Sadbhavana” in this militancy infested area. They said such actions will help further cement the relations between Army and Public imperative for eliminating militancy from the state.
