A veternary camp as part of mass contact programme was organized in the village Budh Ki Khanna located in the foothills of Ratanpir Range by Rashtriya Rifles. It was the first veterinary camp conducted in this remote region of Darmal valley with the assistance from locals. Three veterinary doctors present on the occasion
Commanding officer 48 Rashtriya Rifles also made of use this opportunity to have an informal interaction with the villagers of who approximately 115 including women and children attended the meeting. The local highlighted the medical problems that the villagers in this remote region lace and requested that come assistance from the army should also be given to this otherwise neglected village. The commanding officer assured them of all possible assistance.
The veterinary camp invited possible response from the locals who expressed their gratitude to the army in this initiative of conducting a camp exclusively for this remote village.
