| Deploy Rehbar-e-Sehat to end deficiency in health sector’ | | | Srinagar, Aug 16: Saying that most of the health institutions in the state are under staffed especially deficient of paramedical personnel, State Secretary CPI(M) and MLA Kulgam M. Y. Tarigami today urged upon the government to introduce Rehabar-i-Sahet scheme in Health Department for the adjustment of unemployed paramedical trained youth in the state. Tarigami was addressing a gathering of unemployed paramedical trained youth at Sher-i-Kashmir Park Srinagar who are on demonstration for pressing their demands. He said that genuine demands of these youth be fulfilled as early as possible by taking a serious view. Tarigami said that with the expansion of health department, hundreds of posts of paramedical staff are lying vacant in newly created health institutions and people are facing lot of problems due to the insufficient paramedical staff. He said that hundreds of unemployed trained paramedical youth of the state are pressing hard for their adjustment and added that it is the duty of government to utilize their services in these institutions by introducing Rehbre-i-Sahet Scheme. He said that Rehbre-i-Taleem brought a revolution in education sector by way of providing employment to unemployed educated youth and to provide education facilities in every hamlet and habitation of the state. State Secretary CPI (M) said that he has taken up this matter number of times in Assembly and appealed the Health and Medical Education Minister Mangat Ram Sharma to introduce the scheme in the health sector as it is very much beneficial for people of state.
