| Batyas Mobile School sans infrastructure, teaching staff | | |
DODA, AUG 16- Mobile school set up at Batyas in Bhelessa area of Doda district is without staff and the infrastructure causing great inconvenience to over a hundred of children who have sought admission in the school.
Local people of the area said that the mobile school Amrie Batyas is just has a single room and a single teacher making it impossible for over a hundred of students to get proper accommodation. The locals also alleged that despite repeated pleas the concerned authorities have failed to rise to the occasion and ensure proper accommodation and teaching facilities in the school.
Threatening to agitate for the callous attitude of the district administration, the locals urged the Chief Minister to personally intervene in the matter and see that proper accommodation is provided to the school besides meeting the shortfall of teaching staff. They said that by merely opening schools here and there would be meaningless unless infrastructure is created and sufficient staff posted in such schools.
