| Rural road feasibility for Kathua discussed | | | Kathua, Aug 17: A meeting with regard to preparation of compensation papers of land coming under the alignment of roads under Prime Minister's Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) was held here at Kathua today.
Among others Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Mr. Laj Ram, Chief Planning Officer, Mr. Sant Ram, Executive Engineer, PMGSY, Kathua, Mr. R.K. Gupta besides other officers and functionaries were present in the meeting.
Threadbare discussions were held in the meeting regarding preparation of the land compensation papers for the area coming under Forest land, Compensation of trees besides payment of amount with regard to shifting of 66 KV/ 11 KV electric lines and main pipes of PHE department.
Chauhan exhorted for constitution of a team of officers to jointly visit the spots/ site and prepare the details of the land, which will come under different roads in consultation with the Executive Engineer, PMGSY, Kathua.
The DDC asked the forest authorities to cooperate with the Executive Engineer, PMGSY in this regard.
